6.7 performance, anything available yet?
I called Environment Canada to see if any off road items would possibly put me into a situation with them for possible violations. The answer was they do not deal with that on vehicles that are already registered. The province of which the vehicle is registered is who enforces rules...if any. Since there are no rules or laws currently in place here in Saskatchewan...well, you get the picture.
I spoke directly with the top guy out of Gatineau PQ. Real nice guy and helpful.
He is also very much aware of the increased fuel consumption of not just the Ram but many other diesel equipped vehicles and is looking into it. He did caution me with regards to other provincial regulations...primarily Ontario and if anyone there needs answers to contact their environment department.
This is all a learning curve and I plan to stay ahead on it this time.

Which they are easily spotted as they sweat in 60 degree weather, rainbow sticker on there hybrid, and the use of "eh" in there speech. In which in some cases we have to take them out back and shoot them.
Give it time, the Semi operators are going to have to strike or something. I know its got to be hard on those fellows to make a good living these days. It may suck for a bit if they strike but i think it will open the eyes up of our crappie politicians and not just there pocket books.

umm just a question.... Can you "legally" take the cat off of a 5.9 if the factory put it on there for emissions???? There are people all over this board that run a straight pipe on these 5.9s and nothing is said to them nor is it a big deal. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE???

I would refer you to the "Sticky" posted at the top of this thread which covers your question. Here is a section of that thread posted by Administrator "t-boe":

DEFEATING EMMISIONS EQUIPMENT
Defeating emissions equipment is against federal law therefore not allowed to be discussed on this forum. This includes any federally mandated equipment such as DPF's (Diesel Particulate Filters), CAT's (Catalytic Converters) or anything of a related nature.

yea like he said.... I am not trying to start an arguement just really wondering.. I have friends that were kicked from the forum FOR LIFE for just talking about doing something to their OWN TRUCK..... To me what people do is their own responsibilty.... It should not (IMHO) be such a big deal to discuss what we do to OUR trucks.... I thought that was what this forum was about.. If I do it and get busted I PROMISE YOU that they wont say "well he read about it on dtr and lets go get them"... I mean I love this site and what this forum does for the diesel community is awesome but come on guys, this site is not the center of the universe constantly under servailance (sp?) by the epa and fbi..... I am sorry for ranting but it just kinda bothers me that we are being told what to and what not to talk about.... IT IS A PUBLIC FORUM FOR CRYING OUT LOUD.....
so the question remains...... What is the difference between the 5.9 guys straight piping their rigs and the 6.7 guys doing the same????
there was a recent study that showed 345 counties in the usa which have air that is too toxic to breathe. this is only going to get worse if all you feel you need to disable your emissione equipment to gain 10-15 hp. i have 7 grandchildren who need clean air to breathe. i hope you all think about your grandchildren before doing something that stupid

Just like the studies with eggs. a few yrs ago they where bad for you, now the test show they are good for you. Its too hard to believe anymore.
Those test and studies are all ways back and forth. When there budget runs low. They manipulate a new test to show otherwise to get a new grant.
These test are as real and honest, Just like what you see on tv is real. the News channels dont lie.
you all do what you want. i will stay in my little isolated area away from emisions. my 05 has a cat and it will stay. eventually there will be dot guys doing random cks on vehicles on the highway, just like dui stops. then your truck will sit until you replace everything taken off and pay the fine. also you will probably not be able to trade off ant truck that is altered illegally. i am sure studies are skewed. i worked ion health care for years. all those drug studies every body jumps on the band wagon about are paid for by the very company that makes the drug. but that is what sells drugs,. my truck with cat gets better fuel milage than my old one without so i dont see your problem,.

On Edit: I checked this guys profile after replying to him, he had several posts insulting other members when he did not receive the answer he wanted, posted profanity and had another user name in the data base.
Thats why he was banned, not because he asked this question, though his attitude here sure didn't make me want to over look his other discretions.
