My friend has a 6.7 CTD & wants a performance boost. Is there anything available for a 08' 6.7 CTD yet. His truck is a automatic. Thanks

I have driven a truck with a Beta version Edge, pretty nice. Also I believe there is a TS box out. I will say if you have a pyro, it better go to 2000 or anything over level 3 is a waste with stock emissions equipment.

I am usually found in the 2nd gen forums, I'm new to this "that we do not speak of". I don't want to P.O. a moderator, but could someone pm me a "that we do not speak of" explanation just so that I know for future referrence. From a guess, I would say that it is exhaust related?

Don't speak of removing" federally mandated" emmisions equipment, or we will all go to prison

Gentleman:

For your information, at the very top of this section, is a thread posted by DTR Administrator "t-boe" concerning "Defeating Emissions Systems" on these 6.7 Cummins Diesel Pickups. I have posted the contents of this thread below for everyone to read. Whether you agree with it or not, there is a very good reason of why we have to do this here on DTR and IMHO the thread posted by our Administrator explains it pretty well.

Thank you.

DEFEATING EMISSIONS EQUIPMENT

Defeating emissions equipment is against federal law therefore not allowed to be discussed on this forum. This includes any federally mandated equipment such as DPF's (Diesel Particulate Filters), CAT's (Catalytic Converters) or anything of a related nature.

Edit: This applies to U.S. laws and those under it's jurisdiction. These laws do not apply to Canadian and Mexican regions.

So if you reside in Canada or Mexico you could discuss the unmentionable subject on this forum?

The federal law is the same in Canada. Just depends on where you live as to whether you have to deal with the DOT on a regular basis. I haven't seen anyone hauled off to jail yet..

How do they treat violators in Canada? I have an idea how they are treated in Mexico, for say, running a stop sign lol.
