Question WTSL beep 10x and no codes

Ok-
Updated Smarty Jr last week and got a WTSL beep 10x with no codes. Can clear WTSL by hooking Jr and clearing codes though none are present. Verified no codes are present with turning on key 3x.

Noticed the past couple of days, that my fuel pressure gauge has been being abnormal. Filled isolator to verify gauge is working right. Gauge is more accurate. Though WOT gauge going from 12psi to 2psi or less and will come right back up to 8-10psi once foot is lifted. Truck does not seem any lack of power.

Installed new fuel filter 2k miles ago with oil change. Been replacing fuel filter every 5k-10k. Truck just rolled over 142k.

I have done some searching and some have found a P1223 code, I do not have any.

I am looking for guidance

Install another fuel filter?
Do I ohm the injectors?
Install a new fuel intank pump? Upgrade?
CP3?
Injectors?

Thank you in advance.

An update: I replaced my fuel filter to see if would help my fuel PSI, fuel is 0. I placed an order for a Mechanical Fuel Boss pump from our DTR forum. The concern that I have, is that I am 400 miles away from home working in the oil field and am worried about the injector pump. Should I be concerned with the drive home?

An update:

Installed a new intank pump and Fuel Boss. Seems to run alot better though having a fuel fluctuating problem.

I made a video of the fluctuating.

Looking for guidance.

I installed a new FCA and finally have a code: P1222.

So does this mean injector time? Or something else.

I suspect you are not getting many replies to your questions because this topic has been discussed so many times before.

I recommend you do a search on WTS light and/or P1222/P1223. There are numerous threads discussing this and possible causes.

The problem is your engine is not maintaining desired rail pressure. Numerous things can cause this on the high pressure side of the fuel system.

Thank you for the reply.

I did a search for WTSL. It is strange that I got the WTSL though no codes until I installed a new FCA. P1222/P1223 now show up.

This all started once I updated my smarty Jr. I should have done some research before updating. Once I clear the codes the get the WTSL while driving it seems the truck defuels.

After reading the TBS WTSL, I ohm'd my injectors yesterday to see:
1 0.6
2 0.6
3 0.5
4 0.4
5 0.4
6 0.4

So the injectors do not seem to be the problem. I am trying to weed out the easy or cheap items first.

What I need to do is have someone do a fuel flow test to determine where I should go next.

Ohming out the injectors is not the correct step for your issue.

I am having numerous technical issues with this forum and the search function is not working for me, likely not working for you also.

Here is a link to thread on another Cummins forum: http://www.cumminsforum.com/forum/3r...e-driving.html

Perhaps try a search on that forum until the issues are resolved on this forum..

I had the exact same symptoms, 10 chimes and the WTS light. Sometimes I would get a CEL too. It turned out one of my injector tubes (#6) needed to be retorqued. Apparently it had somehow loosened up and was leaking.
