Yea, they now run a new style pump, it's being used in place of the old pumps. If memory serves me right this pump pushes instead of sucks(please correct me if im wrong). Anyways, it should only take the dealer a day or so to fix, that's if they have the part on hand.

Just take your rig to a good reputable dealer and you shouldn't have any issues.

if you are having intermittent power loss issues, the lp is causing them, the cp3(your injection pump) cannot suck through a dead pump, and provide the 23,000+psi fuel to the injectors to produce the normal amount of power.

My lp was coming and going for 3 days, and i would get power loss, and no starts sometimes. i opted NOT to get the intank, and went aftermarket at my expense.

Most would consider the in-tank LP an upgrade to what you have(or had). it will not affect performance adversely, and it should be in service for much longer thean the filter mounted lift pump.

The dealer is not trying to rip you off or screw you. He is fixing your problem with a better solution than just replacing what you had.

the only replacement they can do is the intank mod. they can no longer get the filter mounted pump. dj is correct.
