Ok, its been about -10 for the past 4 nights and I plug the truck in over night for about 10 hours and when I go to turn it on, the engine is just slightly warmer, the EDGE displays about 72 engine temp, still not that warm at all. Is this normal?

Yeah thats normal, one thing you will notice is that your engine will not clang and growl so much when you start it

82* above ambient is fine. Would luv to have a digital gauge to actually come up with some personel data on these heaters in sub zero temps. I tell people 1 hour for every 10 degrees below 32* F/0*C as a rule of thumb.

Just last Sunday, my truck showed an engine coolant temp of 96*F on the Attitude after being plugged in for about 13.5 hours. The outside temperature was 14*F.

You replace the 2 or 3 from the 2500 or 3500 on your door with a 5 to make it 5500.
