Anyone help to install an engine block heater plug

I just got an engine block heater plug for my 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 and I thought that the installation would be straight forward. I was wrong. Does anyone have a link to some detailed instructions on how this part installs? It's Dodge part #:5086737AB. It is already below zero here in Denver and I would love to get it done tonight!

Thanks......

Are you talking ab out the cord? It plugs right into the block heater located on the block behind / aft the oil fliter, towards the cab.

Is it covered with a siver cover and do I have to take off the oil filter to get to it?

I don't think so, but it would make it very easy. Just take the cover off. It should unscrew? and plug the new one in and screw the threaded retainer on. Route the cord to the front and have it come out the passenger head light area. Use a few wire ties to secure it and crack open a cold one.
