i was tracing my tranny cooler lines to the front of truck (cooler). the converter out line goes to a black cooler looky thingy on the side of block in front of bell housing. what is it? a auxillary cooler?theres a pic of it on the dieselmanor page where it shows the lines. ill post link

well so theres 2 tranny coolers? one there and one up front ontop of the power steering cooler?

 

any1 else have 2 coolers as well? does that cooler use antifreeze? the one up front is a free to air one i know.

 

Yep there is two tranny coolers on our trucks.....and its a pain in the a** to change

 

so does the one onthe block use antifreeze to cool or what?

 

Yes it uses the engine cooling system
