45,000:

Original belt shredded at 5400
2nd belt started to go at 39,000, had the overrunning alt pulley TSB done, and new belt

CP3 started leaking at 19,000 - replaced
2nd set of tires
some steering seal or other - wouldn't have passed PA inspection last year, covered under 7/70 warranty

That's about it, knock wood, so far. I'm one of the 2004.5s that had the belt-shredding issue - do a search here and on TDR, and you will have plenty of reading.

Only non-mod related problems have been:

Rear ring&pinion gears @ 94K mi. (bad carrier bearings, just 5days after purchase, diff was intact/reused)
A/C compressor and accumulator @ 101,000mi.
Standard climate control blend door issue (don't know when it started)
non-working driver seat lumbar adjuster

Everything was fine from then on for a long time even thru all the mods and racing, and then......................
1 bad injector and blown head gasket due to racing mods @ 167,000mi. When the head was inspected/rebuilt, was found to have bad casting stress cracks from factory. Replaced with rebuilt head.

Now, I got some electronic gremlins that just started creeping in a few days ago at 169,000mi. A radio short when the pass side window rolls down, tranny sensor problems of some kind, and no cruise control.

*edit* 11/14/08 @ 1:50PM

Fixed both the tranny and OD problems at the same time just 10 minutes ago with a free fix!!! Just unplugged the 3 ECM plugs, sprayed them with a little WD40, plugged back in and viola'!!!

Just air-conditioning issues...

It's on its fourth evaporator core in six years' time (and 87K miles). Thank heavens for warranties - the extended variety, especially. The next one will be on me, though. Otherwise, the truck's been perfect.

Been pretty good, one blown rear shock. Dodge had a place try and fix the drivers seat cushion as I was feeling the metal bar below. They recently did a little more work on it so I will see how it goes . . .

I had an 04 1500 SB RC sport Hemi (sweet truck) and 67K on it when I sold it. Changed the plugs once, trans fluid one, diff fluid 3 times and the oil every 4,000.

My 07 2500 cummins, the ac compressor went out at like 35,800 miles and I had to replace the batteries at 50,000. OH AND THE FREAKING HEATSHIELD ON THE GAS TANK CAME LOOSE AT 70 MPH ON THE FREEWAY DRIVING TO THE JOB INTERVIEW I HAD ALWAYS WANTED. I was on the ground in a suit ripping that thing off working my abs real hard as to not put my starched white shirt on the ground. Wouldnt' have mattered I didnt' get the job anyway but luckily it was in real estate and by now I would have been regretting it.

Since my last post the dealer replaced my front axle u joints, have had both tail lights replaced (left one twice), they had condensation in them. First time to the dealer in 3 years, could be worse...

On my 06', where do I start. Fuel Line to #4 inj replaced twice, Starter at
42k, 2 Ac compressors, 1 condensor, brakes rotors and seals, transducer, 3 trannys and the one put in last only 25k ago is going out, shifter cable, turbo, 9 injectors, motor blew at 115k miles and had completly re-built, block machined, new head, rods, pistons, rings, and crank shaft turned. All this happened on a completly STOCK Truck and before 135k miles, changed oil every 5k miles and fuel filter every 10-12k miles, and serviced tranny regularly before the first one went and now they been going out before its time to service them(tranny still under warranty till 155k). But after all this that has happenend to my truck, I still would take a Dodge over a ford or chevy. I like my truck.

The A/C has a leak in the condenser. I exploaded the transfer case. Repaced one lift pump and one injector pump. replaced all U joints twice. Two clutches. Multi function light dimer switch works SOMETIMES. Rear main seal leak twice. Now I have a strange noise when backing up and turning. I love my truck!

1.) AC Blend Door twice (both times, the truck was gone for a week +/- due to a "back order on parts")
2.) Two injectors needing replacement (separate occasions, truck was gone for a week and a half both times +/- due to a "back order on parts and a busy technician")
3.) TSB done on my towing package to get my fuses to quit popping which took my trailer brakes away from me on three different occasions and every time, I was loaded with approx 10K (which they tried to charge me for unsuccessfully).
4.) Most recently, I had to have my tranny replaced. Torque converter, clutch packs and bands were all toast. (truck was gone for right at two weeks due to a "back order on parts and a lazy technician who kept coming in late).

Total time I have owned my truck = 36 months. Total time on deployment and truck was stored over that 36 months = 18 months. Total time of use on the truck = 18 months. Total time over that 18 months that the truck has been at or in a dealership awaiting repairs = ~2 months

Had to pay a $100 deductible every time it went in for warranty work. Had to pay deductibles on the crummy rentals that they put me in so that I would at least have A vehicle 3 times at right around $200 each time. Had to pay $2,000 for an extended warranty due to researching an "iffy tranny" on these trucks which actually paid off in the end, conveniently enough.

Yeah, I would say that so far, this truck, other than the Cummins, has been the most unreliable vehicle I have ever owned, sadly enough.

Steering box under warranty
lower ball joints, warranty
heater core hose, warranty
2 front crank seals, warranty but still not fixed.
2 rear drive shaft u-joints, 1 warranty, 1 my dime
replaced factory tires at 73,000 miles

Some mysterious electrical problems, radio won't work sometimes, goofy turn signal problem sometimes, right low beam headlight only works sometimes.

Noticed my transfer ase is wet with oil last night as well as left front axle seal leaking.
