What is my problem?
i have noticed lately that my truck is running rough. It shakes alot at idle and the rpm's jump around a couple hundred rpm's. it does it at idle and in gear. it will do it up to 1100-1500 rpm and seems to smooth out. Today i had alot of stop and go traffic and it was worse. it seems that it was rough all the way to 2000 rpm but eventually seemed to smooth out a little. Is it an injector problem?

OK after doing some checking i see the code is High Fuel Rail Pressure which could have been there from running the Bully Dog a couple years ago. I changed the fuel filter about 5000 miles ago. I just put some injector cleaner in it and drove around for awile. Seems a little better. Will run for a few days to see if just a clogged injector. How can i check the FCA to see if it is going bad?

Not sure if the codes for an '05 are the same as an '03.
For the '03; P0088 - Fuel Rail Pressure Too High
Not sure how this would effect the erratic RPM's you are experienceing.

Could be a rail pressure sensor, I've seen a few of them go bad lately.
Swing by an auto zone or the like and get that code cleared, see if it comes back. If the condition that caused that code was the BD and it was removed a while back, that code should be cleared. After so many key cycles of the condition not being present, the codes will reset.

Do you have a FP gauge? What is your low pressure reading?
I'd pull the connector on the rail pressure sensor and clean it, and re-seat it.

Update!
Well i got it checked out by my brothers friend who is a diesel mechanic. The #2 injector was not functioning properly. He power flushed the injectors first to see if he could get it working but ended up having to replace it. Runs like a champ now.
