What injectors do I have?
I recently bought the truck in my sig used. The dealer had the injectors replaced. I have asked dealer what was put in. He talked to the shop that did it but not the actual mechanic. the only info he was able to get is that they are Higher horsepower Bosch injectors. Any body have clue what these could be?How hard would it be to pull one out and check it? My truck smokes like a coal train and I'm trying to figure out if a swapping in a used 351 turbo would be big enough.
I know I need one, it's high on the growing list of things the truck needs. for now I just drive it easy and I'm not planning on towing my fiver until I get one.
As per your other thread (https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...e-t312981.html) have you confirmed that the firmware in your ECM is stock?
This is a logical 1st step before you start removing injectors.
An aftermarket program in your ECM could account for the majority of the smoke.

I still think that flashing your ECM back to stock to confirm that an aftermarket programmer is not loaded is a better 1st step than messing with your injectors.
The only way to confirm what size injector nozzles are installed in your truck is to remove them and have them flowed and tested by a reputable CR injector shop. Exergy or DDP.
Any part numbers on the injectors or nozzles would be irrelevant since they could be modified.
