Valve Adjustment

just curious..Do any of you members in the Lodi-Stockton California area do valve adjustments or can someone tell me where I can get this done?We are new to the area and have no clue.Don't want to take it to a dealer and get ripped ( unless I have to).

Have you tried talking to the service writer and ask to meet the tech at a dealership? Explain your fears which for me would be the same at a dealer or a independent shop.Same deal. You don't know them eaither.
