UOA for Rottela 5-40 synthetic????

Does anyone have a link or can expond on UOA's for Rotella 5-40 synthetic?

Since I really am not interested in extended oil drains and I don't want to pay the outrageous prices of a true synthetic. I do need a thinner oil at startup than 15-40. I know that Rotella 5-40 will be good to 8,000 miles I'am just wondering how good it will be to 8,000 mile oil changes?

Appreciate any input.
Thanks,
Ron

I was there before here and could not find anything real eye opening. A few UOA's but not alot, especially for the CR cummins.

Was just curious if anyone here has done any UAO's.

This oil seems to perform very well in a wide variety of applications, including all 3 generations of CTDs that I have seen. This oil, along with Schaeffer's 5w-40 might be the 2 best "bang for your buck" oils out there for long drains, low wear, and cold flow properties.

I tried to upload a copy of my recent oil samples from Blackstone Lab but it was taking forever to do it.
Here are the info:
Miles on truck - 83,750
Miles on oil - 7,450 , OIL TYPE & GRADE: Shell Rotella T 5w/30 (Syn)
Aluminum - 2
Chromium - 1
Iron -14
Copper - 4
Lead - 2
Tin - 0
Molybdenum - 3
Nickle - 0
Manganese - 0
Silver - 1
Titanium - 0
Potassium - 7
Boron - 2
Silicon - 7
Sodium - 4
Calcium - 3291
Magnesium - 9
Phosphorus - 1174
Zinc - 1370
Barium - 0

The TBN read 10.5 still active additive remaining.Insolubles(oil oxidation due to heat, use and blowby) were normal at 0.2%.They want me to try 10K miles next oil change.
Hope this info helps.
