Problems with BLackstone UOA pump??!!??
Hey there! I just got a pump to take samples from blackstone. Followed the directions and can't get it to suck oil out of the sump! If I pull it out and test it on my finger I have suction and it IS getting into the oil?? I pumped for about 15 minutes.. any Ideas???
Roper,
Sorry I can't help you with the pump. But next time you change your oil you might try putting on one of these---------> http://www.genosgarage.com/prodinfo....er=FTP-F104N-A
It makes oil changes a breeze and you can control the flow down to a trickle. It makes it very easy to get an oil sample without making a big mess. Good luck!

I actually do have one of those out in the garage that I got from Genos.. I was going to install it but didn't feel comfortable on how to torq it down easily and accurately. And I would always worry that if that spring failed.. you know!! LOLL Thanks!
