Talking Two issues, oil filter wrench, back up lights inop

I have a 2004.5 with a manual 6 speed trans. The back up lights have stopped working. Fuse is good, connection at the trans is tight. Any body have a schmetic for the system, trouble shooting guide?

Next issue is the oil filter comes loose after about 5000 miles. Even tighting the one full turn plus does not seem to stop this happening. I have looked for a wrench that fits this filter better but have had no luck. Any recommended?

Thanks
Al

What filter are you using? Are you lubing the oring before installing?

#2 heres the diagrams for the reverse lights. Make sure to follow the MT wires.

It's the reverse switch on the tranny. Pretty common issue on the NV5600.

Stick with a better filter. Never had that problem with Wix or Fleetguard. And I have put a bunch of them on!

Fleetguard filters and filter wrench can both be found at Geno's for a resonable price.
