Fuel gauge, cruise, pass power window, fog lights all inop
To start off with, I'm fairly certain that the fuel gauge is the sending unit, and I have oredered one, just need to install. The cruise has been inoperable since I got the truck, yet the little light on the wheel always lights up when I turn it on. Where should I start looking for that one? Fog lights are the same, even with new bulbs installed. Checked all fuses in the fuse panel, everyone is ok. Any relays to go through? And my passenger side window is really bugging me. It will only roll down with passenger side control, only roll up with drivers side control. What gives with that? The motor is great, it goes faster than the drivers window does. Just a couple little things that have been bothering me that I'd like to get taken care before winter. Thanks in advance.
I don't know about the other stuff but I've had the same problem with the power windows I take the switch out by just removing the cup in the door where you grab the arm rest, and popping the switch down take the switch apart and clean the contacts
Sounds like the switch for the fogs, and the power window switches are easily removed and cleaned (water from an open window can get on them and start to corrode the internals. The CC could be the vacuum unit. I don't think your year had the clockspring in the steering column. Just a thought(s)
