Fuel issues

I am searching for a used Dodge diesel between 03 and 06 but would like to know how the new ultra low sulphur fuel is affecting these differing years of trucks as it will affect my choice of vehicle. Thanks for your input.

Can't tell any difference in mine. Power, fuel economy, engine noise, none seem to change with either LSD or ULSD.

I thought that the 03s and up where desined for the ultra low fuels? Am I wrong? If so you'll be great. my 04.5 it twice the truck the old 96 was, and that was a great rig.

'03 - '06 can run on all diesel types. '07 and newer must have Ultra low sulpher fuel.

As I understand it all 5.9's can run either LSD or ULSD including the 2007's that have a 5.9L engine. The new 2007 6.7L engine (some call it a 2007.5) is the one that must use ULSD.
