Left Side Tail Lights INOP
Thanks to those that have the time and experience to respond to those of us, that are......STUCK......
Wiring Diagram help needed 2006 3500 TD
Hopefully someone has a wiring diagram for a 2006 3500.
Running tail lights inop left side only;..Blinker and backup lights work
My truck is a low mileage (40K) 2006 Garage kept 3500.
The prior owner installed LEDs around the tail lights using the crimp type connectors that splice into the existing wiring. Well this buggered up the factory wiring near the plug that connects to the tail light circuit board.
I have swapped the tail light circuit boards to determine if that was the source of the problem. It was not. Also checked the obvious, bulbs and fuses.
Two questions:
1, Is the factory plug from the wiring harness to the tail light circuit board a sealed unit or can I open it up and reconnect the wires?
2, My running tail lights are inop; Does anyone have the color code for the top two lights ? and maybe the volts I can expect to see on a meter when their on. Should this be the typical 13.4 or so ?
Currently The blinkers are about .7 volts and the backup light is @13.4.
TIA
