well i talked to a guy that is a friend of my step mom's. he had his own tranny shop for years and really know's his stuff. he said he would rebuild my trans for me on the side for right under a $1000......he said it would normally be around $2000+ but since they know him so well then it wouldnt cost so much. I do have to remove the trans and transfer case to take it to him, which isnt going to be much fun, but oh well.
