Transmission Service with CarQuest Fluid
My local CarQuest store has their own brand of ATF +4 and that is all they carry. I'm going to service my 48RE. Would you run this stuff in your truck?

As long as it's ATF+4. I've used Valvoline, SuperTech (The Anti Christ), Mopar. It all works. It's probably Valvoline private labeled. This will ease your wonder....http://www.centerforqa.com/licensedatf4brands.html

Any ATF+4 is under strict control from Mopar...The company that sells it has to buy the license to do so from Mopar, and probably at a high cost. It will also have a Lubrizol additive package (Mopar requirement) There is not a whole lot of difference in brands... ATF+4 is a very high quality fluid.
No worries.

I have a question on the ATF+4 fluid. Is it all synthetic oil or a blend or what. I run ATF+4 fully synthetic Valvoline in mine but was wondering if it all was that.
