On my 2003 dodge dually 48Re tranny 4 wheel drive I just found a rotted line on what appears to be a cooler up behind the transfer case. The one lines IS rotted out so & the truck was down a litre of tranny fluid. I don't see this cooler in the manual unless I'm blind what is this? I am suppose to be at work 400kms away but I need to fix this. Can it be repaired without removing the transfer case? Thanks its been a long day.

 

Its called torque convertor cooler in the parts book and water-to-oil cooler in the service manual.
