Transmission

could anyone tell me what transmission I have or a relatively easy way to find out. All I know at this point is it is an automatic 4 speed. Thanks for any reply's.

On your 06 you have the 48RE. Pretty good tranny for stock to moderate HP if you drive it sensably. If you want to mmod it first off at least a Valve body and converter. Then Flex plate and input shaft, then heaver clutch packs and then, Oh heck, you might as well get a built tranny and get it over with. About $3-4 grand.

one of these days I will understand what you are saying but now your speaking chinese as for as fex plates and clutch plates. But thanks for the info on the tranny model.
