ok guys im putting in my trans go got the servo out and putting in the band and anchor for the intermediate. i will be getting to the vb in a littel bit i dotn think that will be a problem.
the only thing i really need help with is the eclip on the parking shaft. i was pulling the valve body and the parking lever (i think that is what it is called) pulled out a little bit is this ok? it is still attached in the trans and i cant get it out and dont want to get it out. i just wanna make sure it is properly in there ill add to the post if i need more help

Do yourself a favor, pull the rod out and put it back on the VB before you install it. Its a LOT easier than trying to put the clip back on. 
Jack up one rear wheel and turn it so the drive shaft turns while pulling the rod towards the front of the trans. When the pawl can drop into a notch the rod will just slip in and out. The pawl is spring loaded to keep it unlocked and there is a bevel side that the rod end will slide thru to install. The trick is getting the pawl to drop into a notch.

i got the eclip by myself but her is the issue... i am trying to shift it into park and it will not go. i can do it without the linkage on there but with it on it will not go. i am going to try and bend the rooster comb and make sure i got it all lined up!
