I think that about 7 out of 10 of the people in this forum alter their trannies in one way or another and you're going to get about 29038573490568340958430958 different opinions on what is best, what is worst, etc...Pretty much ANYBODY out there that builds trannies for these trucks knows what they are doing and you will be happy...prices and warranty, etc will be the MAIN thing that will make you choose one brand maker over another. Some of the big brands out there are Goerends, DTT, HTS, ATS, Suncoast...

I appreciate the input all I want to know who builds them, I understand that everyone has an opinion about who builds the best. But I just want to know who builds them.

 

Gotcha! Well there ya have it, there are the big 5 for ya right there. Get in contact with them all...you'll find out quick who has good customer service, etc and who doesn't, and you'll pick one. Good luck with your mods!

 

I have never heard anything but horror stories from anyone that runs any other than the "big 3". They are Goerend (my choice), DTT, And a few still talk about ATS but they are pretty out numbered but the actual "big 2" guys out there. Anyone having luck with yours that are not Goerend or DTT well good for you! I just know who my preference is...........

 

look in to HTS, some of the fastest trucks out there run there trannys with no problem. I dont think ive ever heard a complaint either.
