Tools requiered for general maintenence plus
Im still getting my self acclimated the to my 2007 CTD 5.9 and I need a starting point or base line. Im looking for any special maintenence techniques or time saving tips.
I have lots of tools for truck repair and several trucks that need repair from time to time. Besides my new CTD I have a Chevy, Ford Bronco and 3 Toyota trucks.
1. What tools are you using to remove the drain plugs of the following.
oil pan?
G56 trans?
xfer case?
2. are the Dodge trucks metric or SAE/both?
3. what is the largest metric and SAE socket?
4. what are to 4 or 5 most used tools for general maintenence?
5. any special tools needed for basic oil/gear lube/fuel filter changes?
