FASS 95 System Maintenence

Back in 2005 or 2006 I put a FASS 95 system on my 2001, and I remember something about it being rated for 10K hours of life. Well here we are a few years later and nearly 10k hours on the pump and I am wondering if anything needs service (brushes, etc). The pump still sends 16psi to the schrader valve on the VP under full load. This FASS system is the only aftermarket product I have put on this truck that has performed the way I was told it would. No other parts (Pac Brake, brakes, exhaust systems, water pumps, batteries, alternators, wheel bearings, etc.) have held up like this FASS system. I am just wondering if any of you folks know of a maintence plan for this system. The way its going, I am going to need to get another 10K hours out of this truck so I would like to keep this system functioning at a full, realiable capacity.

Thanks
Matt

I've never heard of any maintenance program for them.I guess you just run it till it stops.

Mine has been one the truck for about five years now and over 45,000 miles. I just changed the separator and the filter this year for the first time since it was installed. Still delivers 17 psi all the way through the RPM band. The only thing I ever heard at all was one or two issues with brushes. I have noticed that I can hear mine a little louder than I could initially.

I've got about 230,000 on my 95 and it has been trouble free (loud, but trouble free). I got ready to pull my RV the other day and noticed 0 fuel pressure. My first guess after a little checking was the Bosch relay supplied with the original system and I was right. Napa had an Echlin replacement #AR201 and I was back in business. Growling away and providing a good steady 17lbs. Hopefully good for another 230K.
