Which synthetic oil besides Amsoil??

Good question. Maybe 5w-40 CI-4+ oils are the most recommended??

I ran Rotella in my 03 with 150k and in a couple of irrigation motors for a couple years because you can buy it a Wally World for a reasonable price. I switched to Amsoil HDD about 20 months ago and change it in the pickup at 1 yr./ 20k miles. The Amsoil runs smoother (I could hear a difference...) and my oil consumption dropped in half. I think/hope it is worth the extra money.
