suspention questions.

I have Rev-Tek 6", axle forward kit and there adjustable trac bar. Who makes there Trac bar? I need to order bushings for it. Also the trac bar is to long looks like I need to trim down the coupling nut about a half inch on each side. Anybody run into this? When I go over about a 3 inch speed bump (slow) I get a loud clunking noise from the suspention, is this because of the angle of control arms with the 6" coil?

If you need new bushings for the trac bar the clunk could be coming from that. It could also be the trac bar bolts are not tight enough or the drop bracket isn't tight enough. I would also check your end links.
The kit should have included slightly longer control arms so that shouldn't be a problem. A long arm kit would give you a better ride though.
Why do you say the trac bar is too long?

with the trac bar all of the way collapsed or sucked in all of the way, the axle sticks out to far twards passenger side. It needs to go about a half of an inch shorter to get centered up. track bar bolts are extreamly tight if I go any more I think they will break, the track bar has plenty of slop and the bolts do not move. I had some one saw on the wheel to see the loose stearing issue. So I have got new bolts from Dodge and now I want to get new bushings to put in when its all apart.

Maybe someone else can respond to this, but I'm wondering if that adjustable trac bar is designed to be used with a trac bar drop bracket. I think using the drop bracket helps with the geometry of everything, but it also pushes the axel a little to the passenger side by doing this. However on a 6" lift I don't think it moves it enough to center the axel perfectly, which would be the reason for using an adjustable trac bar. I use offset bushings in my stock bar to accomplish this.

You would think the adjustable bar would collapse to the same length of a stock bar, do you have the stock bar to measure against?

Yea I have the stock bar, I will measure it when I get a chance. I supose I could use offset bushings in my adjustible track bar to make it shorter and then if it ends up to short just adjust for it.

Were would I get some offset bushings?

Does anyone know what kind of adjustible track bar Rev-Tek supplies to know what bushings to get?

I'm suprised noone else has chimed in to help you out. I got my offset tracbar bushings from lazarsmith. I would think the bushings are the same for the adjustable bar and the stock one, but I don't have an adjustable bar to confirm that.
