Like the title says my clutch is making a strange noise. If i press the clutch an let it out quick is when it does it. (not in gear) Its hard to describe the sound but its sorta like a click/clunk...Anyone elses clutch make any noise? I just wanna know if something is wrong so I can take it back to the dealership and know sorta what I am talking about.

 

They are a little clunky due to it being such a heavy duty trans. You probably just need some practice learning how to drive it without making the noise....

 

My G56 has been "speaking" to me for 2 years. It's a tough noisy little guy (or girl) with a personality to boot!!! I'm guessing it's normal.

 

Could be the DMF, it looked like another clutch in there to me??

(so we took it out!)

There are quite a few parts that make up the stock clutch and flywheel, it's hard to say what is making noise in there.
