I had a much needed clutch job done friday at a local national chain transmission shop. That's all fine and good, get the truck back same day, clutch seems fine but now have excessive road noise in the cab that wasn't there before????

Is there insulation or something that they have neglected to put back in?

 

Shouldn't be, they would have had to take the shifter boot off to get to the shifter, I did mine and didn't have any excess noise. As far as I know there isn't any insulation they would have to remove underneath. Check the boot, make sure all the screws are there and tight. Or there could be a problem with the clutch itself?? What kind of clutch did they put in????
