How many miles are you getting out of a stock clutch?I've got 123,733 on mine.Just wondering how long they last. Thanks.

All depends on the driver and the loads you pull.....some guys are replacing them at 25,000 miles ........ I know others that have 200,000 on the stocker......

At 160K, the throwout bearing disintegrated. About 140K of that was with a mild chip, and towing 10K pounds...
Replaced with a South Bend clutch.

only got 85000 miles out of my stocker. Got the truck used at 55k, so don't know how much it was beat on before I got it. Replaced with Southbend OFE which has been great for 10000 miles now.

160,000 on my stock original clutch.

Truck has grossed 30,000# many times and is always hooked to a trailer now, used for farm work and pulling only.

Mine has slipped once pulling a lightly loaded 19ft flat deck at 55K miles. Was passing a semi going up a slight hill and suddenly ..... automatic transmission. Now with the Smarty Jr the torque really builds up in the higher RPM and that is what did it when it hit that power band
