I think some of that shift problem is in the PCM. Mine has done it since I bought it new. I had one other problem one day. It wouldn't go into overdrive. A guy told me to pull all the plugs from the firewall and clean them with eletrical connection cleaner. Put them back on with packing grease. worked like new. No search for gears between 1and2. Had to do it againabout 40.000 later
