Start up noise?
I usually start truck go back inside to get coffee and after starting and walking in front of truck i hear a squeaky noise like a idler pulley or even H20 pump getting ready to go.
So I looked under hood and man there is little room to work in there, thinking about replacing tensioner pulley, idler pulley and H20 pump with a new belt I am at almost 100K miles. Top of radiator with new fluid. Looks like if I could get fan shroud out it would give me room but looks like it is one piece, tried looking for a how to article HELP! Thanks
Oh the noise seems to go away after driving 30 miles or warming up.

I have changed my tensioner pulley 3 times. The easiest was when I let the mechanic do it.
But the others were on the road.
Remove the air box and it gives you much more room to work.
My belt is something I run for 200,000 miles max or once a year. I carry the old one in the truck as a spare. The same with the old pulley.
My water pump has never been changed.
As far as squeaks go, they are hard to find. I would definately consider pulleys if you have not changed them.
My truck has 528,000 on it and I had to change the alternator in Oklahoma this week at 526,881 miles.

Had to change my tensioner pulley at only 40k, noise was the same as yours and usually went away after a minute or so of idling. If the tensioner is in good shape the pulley can be had from autozone for only about $20.
