Not a dime. It was covered under warranty (30,000 miles). I'm very fortunate that I have a couple of good friends at the dealership who go out of their way to take care of my truck.

My truck is at the dealer now and they ,of course, didnt feel any vibration . I'm trying to get them to pull a driveshaft from a truck on the lot so I can drive it. Just for kicks I called the parts deprtment with my Vin# and they quoted me $179 for whole new rear shaft(Shortbed one piece).

Mine was replaced at 53,000 and I had to pay the $100 deductable, the rest was covered under warranty.

65 mph vibration

I recently bought a used o4 with 17k. It too has the vibration at 65 mph. I took it to one dealer who replaced the rear driveshaft which didn't cure the problem so the replaced the front. When I picked the truck up they said it was good to go. Wrong!! It had not changed a bit. Today I to took it to a different dealer who agreed it still has a vibration. They used a micrometer and found the rear driveshaft (the new one) was out of round by .020 inch on the tranfercase end and have order another rear drive shaft. The tech said he call DC. DC said they were aware of the problem and it was the manufacturing defect.

I have a vibration on my truck is it but thought mainley due to poor road quality on the interstate. Does it accure on long or shortbed trucks 4x4 or 2wheel drives.

Just bought 2004 dodge two days ago. Have vibration occuring past 50 mph. quite annoying. Mileage is 37,500 miles. Truck is certified used truck by dodge dealer far away out of town. Feels like rumbling through the seats and the floor.

Is the driveshaft/ujoints covered by powertrain warranty??

Also (different subject), There is no campaign sticker for CTD ECM reflash. Should I demand them to do reflash? I got about 18-19 mpg (see my sig) at 75 mph on interstate.
