Smoke and acceleration

I've always been a Ford guy (well, it was popular when we lived in Kansas!), but took a left turn today, and ended up test driving an '03 2500 CTD; owner sale. Nice truck, although a bit of high mileage (~34K). Anyway, we were going down the highway (about 10 mins, or so and the truck had been running for probably 20 mins.), and I turned the truck around to head back. After the u-turn, I stepped down, although not floored . . . and looked back . . . not a huge amount of smoke, but some. Is this normal for Dodge? If not, what should I be asking about, or having the tech check?

Thanks for any advice, or guidance.

Welcome Aboard.

Mine doesn't smoke when warm. I don't think that is a high mileage truck, heck mine's got 25k on it and it seems I rarely drive it.

Why is he selling it?

Is there a box on it? Verify that it still has a valid warranty.
