Bilstein, Geno's Garage. I've got the 5100 but the next level up might be a tad bit better. These are the only shocks I've had that actually have held up for any time on any of my diesel Ram's.

The Yellow/Blue ones are HD's and have different valving then the Silver/Black 5100's.

If you want a nice firm shock try the KYB Monomax. These are very firm. You can get them at tirerack.com or your local Advance Auto store. I think they are less $$ than the Bilsteins. A lot of people like the Bilsteins though.
I have rancho 9000xl front set on 7 rear set on 5. I have had bilstein 5100 and the yellow/blue bilsteins. I like the ride better on the ranchos because you can adjust your ride.
