This is something I did not know. The top needs to have two nuts tightened down on it ? Presumably the larger underneath the smaller ?

I wondered why two nuts came in the little package. The instructions that came with the shocks are these tiny, incomprehensible little pictures, pages full of them, for various types of shocks, and not one word of English. Might have well as been intended for Martians.

sean,on this type of shock you bet 2 nuts, i think the nut viberated off lettting the shock drop down, the stem hit the top "A" fram broke the bottom bolts pushed shock out the bottom---???I think.

Theres 2 bolts on bottom and 1 nut on top. some times you have to hold the shock's shaft and turn the nut off with an air gun.

We put gabriel's on the front of the 93. rides nice. make sure you get the ones for the "4000lb diesel front end"
