Re:new shocks question

I just installed a set of Bilsteins and love them! The truck only has 28k on it but they really improved the ride.

Doug

Re:new shocks question

I have RUFF COUNTRY shocks all around. Did improve handling. Stock shocks were wore out when I bought the truck.Wrecked the truck last week.Tore out entire front drivetrain. Rancho offer's 3 shock's that I know of. Rancho 5000, RSX or something like that, & 9000. I am going with the RSX. Adjust to different road conditions!!! No adjusting, no need to get out of truck & turn a **** from highway to dirt road like the 9000.

Re:new shocks question

I put in the Ranch 9000x shocks. They ride great with the nine way adjustment (dial your ride). Compared to the stock shocks there is no comparison.

Re:new shocks question

I also have the Rancho RS9000x's w/ in-cab remote system. It's a waaay better ride now! Plus I like being able to just hook up the fiver and jump in the cab and adjust the rear shocks for the load w/out having to crawl under the truck! ;D

Tony

Re:new shocks question

I'm with JetPilot on this one. I have the Bielsteins. The front of my truck (20K) was starting to feel kinda loose. I still may have other issues, trackbar, etc. but the shocks really helped. The big difference is in the rebounding.

Re:new shocks question

I have Edelbrock Performer IAS shocks on all four corners. I mostly just ride the danged potholes but when tow I tow heavy and these shocks are doing well. Your money, your choice, all of them are equally pricey. If you don't have a need or desire to fiddle with a **** for different conditions then just about any of the premium shocks will work well for you.
