I want to replace the factory shocks but haven't been able to find RANCHO or BILSTEIN shocks for the 2004 2500 Quad Cab 4x4 with HO Cummins...

Anyone have any suggestions?

 

I looked on Rancho's Site and they only list shocks for the 03 w/ 2" lift as of today.

I called down to 4wheelparts and they gave me the number to Rancho's technical support. (734-384-7804)

I had the 9000 series in my 1500 and loved them for the adjustablity inside the cab.

Bilstein has some listed on their web site for the 03 but not the 04.

I would suspect the suspension to be the same but would double check.

 

I've called both Bilstein and Rancho and neither carry shocks for the 04 2500 4x4 quad cab with the cummins in it....sorry guys...

 

Go to Rancho website and look up the length/travel of the stock shocks, then add extra length/travel needed. They have a shock for just about anything.

 

Once again,,,CALLED RANCHO AND BILSTEIN....They have nothing for a non-lifted 2004 2500 4x4 quad cab with HO CUMMINS (GVR over 8000lbs). NOr, will either state/recommend the 03 shocks will fit an 04!

 

rossn2-why wouldn't the 03 shocks fit an 04? They are identical trucks. Call you dealer to confirm the part numbers off your stock shocks.

 

No not the same...as a matter of fact they have to look up by VIN Number...
