scam or not?
just saw an ad for a 2004 2wheel drive cummins, ad says turbo bearings gone and not much else. nothing about the body style, trans., ect. 3000 bucks. just emailed him and waiting for a response. its a 12 hour drive away. just looking for your guys opinion. thanks
also, how much does a stock turbo for this truck run?

A turbo from cummins is about $ 1000. It`s no problem to install but that does seem cheap for an 04. Why don`t you tell us where it is & maybe someone that lives near it will go look.

its just a local selling site, not a commercial seller, dad is a diesel mechanic and we would have no trouble installing it. The truck is located in cape bretton, nova scotia
