Thumbs down Rough Idle After US Fuel

The other day i went for a trip to the US border to pick up my intake i ordered. The trip is about an hour and ten minutes all highway. While over there i decided to top up my tank as diesel is more than a dollar cheaper. Took 30 bucks, so i didn't need much. Drove home no problems doing 110 km avg. So i get to the parents house to install said intake and shut the truck off. About 10 minutes later go and start it and its really running rough, bad vibration and missing abit at light throttle to move the truck. Exhaust has a definite new gurgle to it as well. So i take the truck for a spin, operates as normal while driving but lugs a bit at a stop. Then after the drive it clears up. Now days later it intermittently comes back. Any ideas? Bad Fuel? Plugged fuel Filter? I'm gonna change the filter monday regardless but was looking for other opinions. I searched a bit and there are lots of threads with rough idle problems but i can't find a definate answer. Oh and i did add Power Service To the original tank days prior to the US excursion. Thanks

I wonder about the fuel here sometimes. I travel alot and sometimes from tank to tank the truck runs rough.

Sure you have all the parts hooked back up right for the intake, no air leaks, connecters for the sencer, on intake tube ???? then i would change out the fuel filter.

Yep all connections are made, ran rough as i went to pull the truck into the garage for the install. Running good as of now but next start up it may start chugging again, its conpletely random. Truck runs fine other wise, ie power and no smoke. Gonna try to get rid of as much fuel as i can before next fill up.

You got a tank of crappy fuel. It happened to me about 2 weeks after having all 6 injectors replaced. I thought I was gonna crap a brick. After a couple tanks of "good fuel" everything was fine. I would drain the fuel filter some to make sure you don't have any water in it. I catch a bunch of noise for saying this but, my truck does not like PS. Every time I have run it she sounds like crap.

I won't say anything Nick...

Drain/change your FF, get some additive and run through it.

Haha no rags or tools had the chance to go missing as the first symptoms occured when the truck was started to move it into the garage for the intake install. And the irony to what NickBeek says is this was the first tank of PS i ran through the truck. My tdi likes it, so maybe it will get the rest of the bottle. Gonna run what i got for fuel now pick me up a filter tom mornin.
