I was wondering if anyone might be able to provide me some web resources for learning more about the setup of my stock Ram. I have an 04 2500 4x4 with an nv5600 5.9 cummins and want to be able to look up info as it pops into my head. Right now I am wondering what kind of gearing I have in the rear end. I have a repair manual but that doesn't provide any real info on what kind of setup i have and the owner's manual just provides overviews and service intervals. any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

I just use this site. Most people on here are very knowledgeable. Does your rear end have an ID tag.

 

I haven't looked really I didn't know to look, Unfortunately I am deployed to the Middle East right now so my truck is stateside, I was hoping someone could hook me up with some info.

 

I think if you had your vin. Dodge could probably tell you about it. When your driving 70 what is your tach on. My 03 has 4.10's and is right at 2100 rpm at 70 with the 6 speed.

 

Get your VIN and PM ratlratl with it. He can get you a printout of all your options and any work that has been done at a dealership....

I used my vin and emailed dodge for a build sheet they emailed it back to me in under a hour
