Just bought a set of these for the front of mine. Always had good luck with Performance Friction in the past. At 107k the originals are about gone. Good long life but the brake dust has been terrible with the OEM's.

Thanks for all the replies. I went with the Performance Friction Carbon Metallic because Auto Zone gave me credit for the ones I had bought from them a month ago because I was not happy with them. So far the PFCM are working well and very little dust.

No dust is good, but what about fade?? Anyone really gotten into the brakes and do they bit even when hot? Thinking about the Hawks, there supposed to bit hard and not fade bad. I can deal with the dust if they pads dont fade.

I just passed 100K miles on my 3500 and am still on my oem brake pads. Also this truck stops better than my 94 1500 did. That is incredible to me for a truck that weighs 8K lbs, and it's an automatic. I vurtually always try to buy better stuff than oem when something wears out but, with this kind of performance, I wouldn't risk it. Who makes the oem pads, anyone know?

I've used Performance Friction for many years and they are also good.

Stick with the pads that Dodge put on them. They are matched with the rotors so they ware OK. To hard will eat your rotors up to soft will not last and some makes lost of dust BLACK DUST
