Just wondering what everyone has went with or recommends for replacement brakes. What brand of pads and rotors or just turn the factory rotors ? Needing to do some upgrades when i get home this weekend. thanks

I have almost 160k on a stock set of pads with plenty of material left. I'd say the stockers are pretty good.

x3 on "OEM" pads. Currently have 115k on the stock pads and the only reason I'm replacing them this next weekend is because I'll be towing a bunch this spring and don't want to mess with it 20k+ from now.

x3 on OEM I replaced mine with 75k miles, and mine have to stop 37" tires and a 6inch lift. Still had another 20k in them when replaced.

I guess im an oddball, I went with Wagners from Napa, had great luck so far.
I didnt even turn them(or scuff up the rotors like I should have) but so far theyre working great. Good braking and quiet.

I replaced my factory fronts at around 100,000 miles and replaced them with the same factory pads. That was wit a lot of towing as well.I didn't need to turn the rotors either.

OEM Original or Premium line are the best. Do not get the value line or any others...

We must drive harder here in AZ cause no way we can get 100k on our pads. Just hitting 40k and it time.

I bought some value line. What a mistake!!!!!!! I've never seen so much brake dust--ever. I would strongly recommend NOT buying the value line.

Probably just the heat down there melting the pads off your rig!
