Recurring problem
Recurring problem
2004 3500 5.9. Hiccups like it's missing. Intermittent. Throws a code. Mechanic replaces cam sensor. Problem repeats, mechanic replaces crank sensor. Problem still exist.
Mechanic says could be ECM, could be wiring harness. Be driving and suddenly it will jerk a time or two and down the road, do it again. Eventually, the check engine light comes on.
I do not want to start throwing parts at it and hope one sticks. It has 163,000 miles on it. New injectors. I only use it to tow a fifth wheel. Any ideas appreciated.

Welcome to the DTR.
Too late, IMHO. You need a mechanic that can really diagnose the problem. What are the codes?
How long on the new injectors did this start? When my '03 started 'missing', it was a bad injector. I had them all tested and rebuilt by a quality shop (F1). Those injectors solved my 'missing' issue.
Back to morning brew . . .
