Hi am new here and this may be posted in the wrong section. I have done a bit of research, but I am curious about swapping my 2006 ram 1500 body over on to a rolled over 2500 5.9 of the same year model. The donor truck was rolled and the frame measures out to be the same length as my truck. I know It wpuld be easier to just sell my truck and buy the one I want. I'm doing it as more of a project rather than for cost saving. If anyone has any idea if it's even possible to just bolt the body over please let me know.

 

I've never done it, but I'm guessing wiring and electronics compatibility would be the greatest challenge......Ben

 

Yeah I understand that much, but as far as I can tell even measuring it myself. They are the same. Theoretically I could just move the cab and bed over. Assuming the body mounts line up.
