Ran out of fuel, now won't start!!!

I pray there is something I can do.......

It started after about 6 attempts, ran for about 10 seconds, then jsut quit.

Then it would not start, I only tried about 3 times after that, let it turn over for about 15 seconds ezch time.

Any help would be great.

Can you hear the lift pump running? Have you checked the filter canister, is it filling with fuel? Any codes?

Did you bump the key to have the lift pump run for 30 seconds to re-prime the fuel canister?

Never heard of a 7.3 Cummins motor.
My best suggestion is not running a diesel out of fuel, at minimum they are hard to bleed and restart. If it really goes bad you can ruin the injection pump by running it out of fuel which is its lubricant and way it stays cool.
