quick question

my friend got an '07 with the 5.9 in it as a ranch truck and was asking me if it would hurt his engine to run ag-diesel in it. i told him no because i think thats only an issue running low versus ultra-low sulfur in an '07 with a 6.7 due to the exhaust filter. am i correct on this? thanks

Well, as long as it is for off road use only, he should be fine depending on where he gets the diesel from. If he's getting it from some random tank out in the field I would be a little worried about the quality of it...

no. hes getting it from the tank at his house. so he knows its good quality besides having a water seperator filter and a 10 micron filter followed by a 2 micron filter on the outlet of the pump

That red stuff is better then the fuel they sell at the pumps.
