Is SuperTech a Valvoline product? Would anyone recommend using it instead of Valvoline. I'm all about saving money, but not willing to bet my transmission's health on it. Thanks....
Depending on where you are in the country Super Tech could be one of a dozen companies. Usually (in New England at least) it is Warren Products.

Like mentioned above ATF+4 is a current licence, mean they need Chrysler's blessing (and the vendor's cash) to use it.

Okay, if I understand correctly, I can mix and match any of these ATF+4 fluids in my 48RE trans - correct? Also, apparently they are all "synthetic" oils.

I've been using Mopar ATF+4 since I purchased the truck new and now have 102k miles on the ODO. When servicing, I just drain, replace the filter and fill with new ATF+4. (I have never adjusted bands and have never experienced any symptoms of problems).

Now I'd like to switch to Valvoline ATF+4 which would obviously be mixed with the Mopar ATF+4 remaining in the TC and VB. Any problem with this plan?

I've only stuck with the Mopar ATF+4 (at higher cost) previously out of fear of causing problems.

All feedback/comments welcome!

No, both fluids meet the same spec and shouldn't be an issue.

not a bad thread for a 'sticky'

Some good info on this thread, changing the transmission fluid and the ATF+4 specs with brands available. I think its a candidate for a sticky note.
Have a good one !
