Question about the kickdown when passing all you 48RE owners ?
My truck won't go kick down when ready to pass someone @ about 70mph or so but will kickdown when about 60mph is that what yall see in your trucks? please respond, thanks ain't this site great? <br><br>Mitch

I don't have an 03 but that sounds about right, I know on my 99 if it kicked down @ 70MPH it would probably redline, you got all the passing power you need @ 70 without kickdown anyways.<br><br>DRecu!<br>

My 98.5 did the exact same thing. I haven't tried it yet in the 03. Just press the OD button and it will kick down..
