Just wanted to check. I'm trying to help a guy out with a TV cable for his '90 RC 4x4. I was able to get one ordered for my truck, a 1992, but it won't help him much if they are different. Were there any changes made in the TV cable design when they went to the A518?

 

89-91 had a real stiff spring in them 92-93 didnt ,But ether will work . try and find the later and you can use a return spring at the pump

 

^^^i agree, the 89-91 cable makes the throttle pedal too hard to push.

 

Not trying to hiest your thread but, where were you able to find one?

 

Yes, I have one on order from the dealership here in town. $115.

I also have a brand new one sitting behind my back seat that I thought I needed for my shifting problems, but it was something else.
